Through experienced staff, collaborative initiatives and innovation leadership, the W.Va. Health Improvement Institute aims to improve the health status of all West Virginians. This is done by developing strategies that focus on improved access, prevention, and promotion of wellness and healthy lifestyle choices, on appropriate utilization, and on optimal evidence-based chronic illness management.
