Patient Engagement

The West Virginia Health Improvement Institute is available to assist health care providers in the development and implementation of an efficient and effective Patient Engagement strategy and program. Patient engagement is a model created to guide healthcare organizations in developing and strengthening their patient engagement strategies through the use of eHealth tools and resources. This Framework is designed to assist healthcare organizations of all sizes and in all stages of implementation of their patient engagement strategies. The goal is to help health care organizations navigate the path toward more efficient and effective models of care that treat patients as partners instead of just customers.
